Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join a clinical team and deliver exceptional patient care in a collaborative, team-based environment. This position involves a range of clinical and administrative duties essential to dental office operations, with opportunities for continued professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms according to prescribed procedures and protocols.

  • Welcome, comfort, seat, and drape patients for treatment.

  • Provide chairside assistance including sterilizing, delivering, and passing instruments, suctioning, and positioning tools.

  • Mix and place dental materials as required.

  • Take and develop radiographs; pour, trim, and polish study casts.

  • Fabricate temporary restorations and clean/polish removable appliances.

  • Assist in managing dental/medical emergencies, maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.

  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and post-operative care.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

  • Follow infection-control policies and safety standards.

  • Use dental resources efficiently while ensuring quality outcomes.

  • Stay updated on dental practices through workshops, publications, and professional development.

  • Support team objectives and perform additional duties as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Dental Assistant.

  • Strong communication and patient service skills.

  • Knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and safety protocols.

Education

  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant training program.

  • Licensed Dental Assistant.

Certifications (Required)

  • Valid X-ray license.

  • BLS certification.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Coronal Polishing certification.

  • Nitrous Oxide certification.
