Title: Radiation Therapist

Duration: 6-Week contract
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist for a short-term contract assignment. The position is responsible for simulating treatment set-ups, performing dosimetric calculations, applying radiation therapy treatments, and assisting with patient care management.
Responsibilities:
Administer radiation treatments to patients with cancer or other diseases
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and medical physicists to ensure accurate treatment delivery
Explain treatment plans to patients and address any questions or concerns
Calibrate, operate, and monitor radiation therapy equipment
Monitor and document patient reactions to treatment
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient care and treatment progress
Requirements:
Active licensure and certifications required for a Radiation Therapist
Relevant specialty experience in a clinical or hospital setting
Ability to adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance standards
Strong communication and patient-care skills
