Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) CWR

Location: Neptune, NJ 07754

Job Summary: Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurses provide critical patient care in urgent and high-pressure environments. ED RNs must be prepared to care for patients of all ages, managing a wide range of emergency situations that require quick, accurate, and decisive action. In this role, nurses will assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions, prioritize medical needs, and deliver specialized, patient-focused care in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized emergency care to patients requiring immediate medical attention.

  • Respond quickly and effectively to a variety of trauma and emergency situations.

  • Perform rapid, accurate assessments of patients presenting with diverse conditions.

  • Prioritize patient care needs and develop appropriate nursing care plans.

  • Deliver a wide range of professional nursing services within the ED.

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Ensure quality care and compliance with established clinical standards.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an Emergency Department environment.

  • ED experience within the past six months required.

  • Strong clinical knowledge and analytical ability to develop effective nursing care plans.

  • Proven ability to handle high-stress situations with sound judgment and decision-making.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Active NJ State RN license or multi-state compact license.

  • Current BLS (AHA).

  • ACLS certification.

  • Telemetry certification.

  • PALS certification.

  • NIHSS certification.

  • Completion of 4-hour CEU Stroke education.

Schedule & Hours:

  • Full-time, 36 hours per week.

  • 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).

  • Every other weekend required.

  • Holidays required as needed within contract timeframe.

  • No on-call requirement.
