Pay Rate: $55 – $60 per hour
Schedule:
Overnight Shifts:
• Sunday into Monday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Monday into Tuesday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Additional Shifts: 3 shifts per week (flexible — mid-shift or evening)
We are seeking a licensed and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, ensuring patient safety and high-quality results.
Perform diagnostic X-ray and radiologic procedures as prescribed by physicians.
Prepare examination rooms, ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and in working order.
Position and guide patients to capture clear diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure.
Operate radiologic equipment safely and efficiently to produce accurate images of bones, tissues, organs, and vessels.
Monitor and support patients during procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all imaging procedures.
Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols.
Assist with scheduling and maintain radiology supply inventory.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff to promote a positive experience.
Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain licensure requirements.
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.) by the New York State Department of Health.
ARRT certification preferred.
Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work overnight and flexible shifts as scheduled.
