Job Title: Database Administrator – Advanced
Duration: 9 Months
Location: 100% Remote (Some travel required for quarterly onsite client meetings; travel expenses will be the candidate’s responsibility)
This role involves highly complex development projects for upgrades and operations of large-scale Medicaid Management Information Systems, which include mainframe and client-server applications. We are seeking professionals who are:

Provide application administration support for enterprise scheduling applications (UC4/Automic Operational Manager).
Perform technical analysis, incident management, reporting, and upgrades.
Contribute to Linux systems administration on a shared team.
Develop or lead development of monitoring and reporting solutions for job runs and batch environments.
Support triage of real-time production incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
Manage upgrade and migration efforts related to existing jobs.
Integrate UC4 with Linux, Windows, and Mainframe environments.
Collaborate with job scheduling teams; provide training on job standards, escalation processes, and diagnostics.
Develop or lead disaster recovery solutions for job scheduling, ensuring high availability.
Enhance and support automation scripts using JCL, Bash, Powershell, Perl, and Java.
Provide expertise in cross-platform scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys).
Manage patch levels and plan future UC4/Automic upgrades.
Document scheduling policies and procedures.
Develop and update reports for administrative and operational needs.
Participate in 24/7 on-call support on a rotating schedule.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
5–7 years of UC4/Automic experience in Linux and Windows environments.
5–7 years supporting UC4/Automic applications using Oracle and SQL databases.
5–7 years of successfully performing UC4 upgrades in production environments.
5–7 years of programming/scripting skills in JCL, Powershell, Perl, and Java.
2+ years with Control-M and Autosys scheduling tools.
Strong knowledge of IT development and implementation projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
Strong proficiency in English.
Experience in Red Hat–based environments.
Experience programming with Bash.

UC4/Automic certification preferred.
