Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Procedure Room
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11206
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8-hour shifts | 37.5 hours per week | No weekends
Department: Dental Practice
Duration: Contract Assignment
Provide direct patient care and monitoring during dental procedures requiring conscious sedation.
Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy with accuracy and efficiency.
Assess, monitor, and document patient vital signs throughout procedures.
Administer medications safely in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols.
Prepare and maintain procedure room, equipment, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with dentists, anesthesiologists, and other staff to support optimal patient outcomes.
Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and aftercare instructions.
Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required).
Minimum 2 years of acute medical-surgical nursing experience.
Proven IV insertion and phlebotomy skills.
Hands-on experience with conscious sedation.
Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Current AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
