Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room

Duration: 13 Weeks contract

Work Location: New York, NY

Shift timing: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Requirement: CVOR experience

Job Description:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist in cardiovascular and open-heart surgeries with a strong focus on CVOR techniques.
• Ensure operating room is properly prepared with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and maintain accurate intraoperative documentation.
• Collaborate with surgical team members to anticipate needs and ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
• Support patient and family education regarding surgical procedures and recovery.
• Respond quickly and effectively to surgical emergencies.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York State
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Proven IV and Phlebotomy experience.
• Strong CVOR and Open Heart surgery experience required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of Operating Room RN experience
