Job Title: Clinical Dietitian – Clinical Nutrition
Location: New York, NY 10065
Duration: 6+ Months (28-week assignment covering LOA)
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (60-minute break) | Monday–Friday with rotating weekends/holidays

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to join the Food and Nutrition team. This role involves providing nutrition care to patients in an acute care inpatient setting, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
Conduct nutritional assessments for patients and develop appropriate care plans.
Apply Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to support patient treatment and recovery.
Monitor patients’ nutritional status and adjust care plans as needed.
Provide patient education and counseling regarding dietary needs.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
Maintain documentation in accordance with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled.
Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
Completion of an ACEND-accredited program in dietetics.
Current RD (Registered Dietitian) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Active New York State certification as a Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN).
Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT).
Previous experience in an acute care inpatient setting.
Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
