Position Summary

We are seeking a Merchandising Coordinator to support the merchandising team in achieving both financial and strategic business objectives. Reporting to the Merchant, this role ensures smooth execution of merchandising tasks, coordination with brand partners, and timely completion of key deliverables. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and passionate about products, brands, and assortment development.

Core Responsibilities

  • Log and organize brand submissions and samples; document feedback from category teams.

  • Create and update PowerPoint presentations for category review meetings.

  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating brand meetings.

  • Manage daily email correspondence with internal teams and external partners.

  • Maintain SKU accuracy per Merchant’s direction (shelf tags, description changes, brand charges, style codes, product display pages, markdowns, etc.).

  • Seed and initiate offers into Promo Advisor, enter SKUs into offers, and finalize with the pricing team.

  • Execute marketing sign requests, maintain product samples, proof magazine pages and digital assets, and input brand/item data into email and homepage wireframes.

  • Support the planogram process by submitting pricing requests, setting up new SKUs, making coding changes, inputting markdowns, and executing product exit strategies (RTV/DIF).

  • Prepare store memos and respond to help desk tickets with proactive solutions.

  • Provide administrative support including brand/vendor contact maintenance, meeting coordination, and other merchandising tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Retail Merchandising or related field preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Accountability for timely delivery and high-quality execution.

  • Creative problem solver with an innovative mindset.

  • Effective collaborator with internal teams and external brand partners.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, formulas) and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Passion for brands, products, and merchandising processes.
