Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380
Duration: 12 Weeks (Contract)
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts (Monday–Friday), 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM; 1 Saturday per month required
Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing mammographic procedures with accuracy, compassion, and professionalism while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning, imaging techniques, and equipment operation to produce optimal diagnostic results.
• Maintain compliance with ACR, MQSA, and state/federal regulations.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Provide clear communication and compassionate care to patients throughout the procedure.
• Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues to appropriate staff.
• Follow radiation safety standards, infection control procedures, and OSHA guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R)(M) certification required.
• Current State of Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility).
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in mammography preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide patient-centered care.
• Ability to work 4x10 shifts and 1 Saturday per month.
