Workday Architect - WASAAA

Job Title: Workday Architect 

Location: Azusa, CA 

Type: Contract 

Position Overview: 
We are seeking a Workday Architect to guide the strategic design and deployment of our Workday platform. This role requires advanced configuration expertise, integration mastery, and a strong grasp of HR and payroll processes. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead architectural decisions for HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Recruiting, and Compensation. 

• Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to align designs with business goals. 

• Implement best practice configuration strategies for scalability and performance. 

• Oversee integration development and data governance. 

• Maintain architecture documentation and design standards. 

• Analyze and adopt new Workday release features. 

• Provide training and technical oversight to Workday teams. 

• Resolve escalated technical issues efficiently. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. 

• 7+ years in Workday with 3+ years in a leadership or architect position. 

• Proficiency in Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI. 

• Demonstrated experience in global or enterprise Workday implementations. 

• Strong understanding of HR, payroll, and finance workflows. 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 

• Relevant Workday certifications preferred. 

Preferred Skills: 

• In-depth Workday Security knowledge. 

• Cloud and enterprise system integration expertise. 

• Familiarity with GDPR/HIPAA compliance. 

• Agile or formal project management experience.
