Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY
Pay: $2,450/week
Assignment Type: Contract (50 weeks)

Schedule:

  • Primary Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM (includes 30-minute break)

  • Rotating Shifts: Between 8:00 AM and 8:30 PM as needed

  • Up to 5 days/week depending on department needs

  • No guaranteed weekly minimum hours

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join a dynamic healthcare team on a 50-week contract. This role involves providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries. The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient therapy, strong clinical judgment, and a patient-centered approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient evaluations to assess mobility, range of motion, and functional capabilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals

  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as appropriate

  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe movement techniques

  • Document all patient care activities and progress in the EMR system (EPIC)

  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care

  • Reassess and modify treatment plans as needed to maximize patient outcomes

  • Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and compliance standards

Qualifications:

  • Current New York State Physical Therapist License (required)

  • Experience in outpatient physical therapy (preferred)

  • Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records (highly preferred)

  • CPR certification (preferred)

  • Ability to work flexible shifts as scheduled

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
