Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Pay Range: $2,550 – $2,625 per week
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery unit at a reputable healthcare facility in the Bronx. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute maternal and child care and be skilled in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation. Deliver high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers, newborns, and their families.
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy procedures as part of treatment and diagnostics.
Administer and monitor conscious sedation per hospital protocols.
Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Accurately document all care provided in patient records.
Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Follow all infection control and patient safety guidelines.
Work night shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of acute maternal and child healthcare experience required.
Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation.
Certifications:
Active RN license in the state of New York (Primary Source Verification required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Documented training or experience in IV therapy and phlebotomy
