Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Contract
Location: Neptune, NJ 07754
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12-hour shifts/week
Hours/Week: 36 hours
Schedule: Weekends & holidays required as needed
Job Type: Contract
Administer comprehensive respiratory therapy treatments as directed by physicians.
Assist with intubation procedures, set up and manage ventilators, and monitor respiratory equipment.
Collect and analyze patient data to inform treatment decisions and create individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on respiratory health, treatment protocols, and home care needs.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver coordinated and compassionate care.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Support departmental projects and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Licensure & Certifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Valid New Jersey license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA certified
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
