Position Title: Sterile Supply Technician
Location: Syracuse, NY
Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (5x8-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $25 – $30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Perform decontamination, disinfection, and sterilization of surgical instruments, trays, and equipment.
Assemble both simple and complex surgical sets with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Operate sterilization equipment including steam sterilizers, Steris, and Sterrad systems.
Conduct quality assurance checks and adhere to aseptic techniques.
Maintain complete and accurate records of sterilization and decontamination processes.
Respond quickly to urgent equipment and supply requests from clinical teams.
Qualifications:
Completion of a nationally accredited Central Service Technician exam with certification,
OR
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Central Service Technician in a healthcare facility.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Successful completion of pre-employment health screening.
