Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab (Travel Assignment)
Location: Dallas, TX 75231
Assignment Type: 13 Weeks (Travel Contract)
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
On-Call: Required; approximately 10–12 calls per 6 weeks, includes every other weekend
Weekly Pay: $2,912.50

• Taxable: $1,162.50

• Non-Taxable Stipends: $1,750.00

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Dallas, TX. The RN will play a key role in supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert nursing care during cardiac catheterization procedures

• Operate and monitor advanced cardiovascular equipment, including:

  • Impella

  • IABP

  • Volcano

  • ICE

  • Sonosite

• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes promptly

• Administer medications and assist physicians during procedures

• Follow sterile technique and infection control protocols

• Educate patients pre- and post-procedure

• Accurately document in the facility’s EMR

• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and ancillary staff

• Participate in rotating call schedule, including weekends

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active RN license in Texas (unrestricted)

• Certifications:

  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• Experience:

  • 2–3 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience

  • Proficiency with Impella, IABP, Volcano, and ultrasound systems

  • Experience in interventional cardiology and cardiac emergencies preferred

  • Familiarity with EMR systems and hospital protocols
