Job Title: Software Developer 
Engagement Term: 18 Months (Contract) 
Work Location: 100% Remote 

Position Overview: 

A government or education-focused organization is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to provide development and operational support for the Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) application and its related systems. This is a fully remote position with a long-term engagement of 18 months. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support and enhance the Oracle SFP application, including associated configurations, integrations, reports, and ancillary tools. 

• Analyze and reverse-engineer existing code, scripts, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and automation. 

• Modify and develop Groovy and SQL scripts, as well as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations, to implement enhancements. 

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and processes, including operational guides. 

• Manage tasks and requests via Jira ticketing system in collaboration with technical and project teams. 

Required Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable): 

• Groovy scripting 

• MS SQL or Oracle SQL 

• Software development & operational support experience 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
