Provide patient-centered, evidence-based care throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum continuum.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, nurse midwives, anesthesiologists, lactation consultants, surgical techs, and support staff.
Respond to emergent obstetric situations with clinical skill and composure.
Adhere to unit policies and clinical protocols to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
Active RN license in New York State
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in labor & delivery or maternal-child nursing preferred
BLS and NRP certification required (or willing to obtain)
Excellent communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
