This is a hybrid position located in Everett, MA, with the opportunity to make a significant impact in the public services sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for CCFA software, tailored to a wide audience including families, child care providers, partner agencies, and staff.

  • Translate technical language into user-friendly content, with sensitivity to learners with limited English proficiency.

  • Deliver live training sessions both in-person and virtually, ensuring engagement and clarity.

  • Create learning materials such as manuals, job aids, user guides, and digital modules using Microsoft 365, Zoom, GoToMeeting, and other tools.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate training needs and assess program effectiveness.

  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to all educational content.

  • Provide frontline technical support and issue triaging through ServiceNow, escalating as necessary.

  • Develop accessible, self-paced training content using modular design principles.

  • Incorporate financial and fiscal workflows into training content for non-technical and non-financial audiences.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in technical training or instructional design roles.

  • Proven ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical users.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially with diverse learner groups.

  • Familiarity with adult learning theory and training development methodologies.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Teams), Zoom, and GoToMeeting.

  • Experience developing job aids, training manuals, and interactive learning content.

  • Ability to adapt training for individuals with limited English proficiency.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar support ticketing systems.

  • Understanding of financial systems, budgeting, or payment processes in public programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with public benefit systems in early childhood, education, or human services.

  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) for organizing training content.

  • Proficiency in Articulate or similar e-learning authoring tools.

  • Experience working in government settings (local, state, or federal).

  • Experience with Jira for tracking tasks, sprints, and software releases.

  • Agile methodology experience, including facilitation of Agile ceremonies (e.g., stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage timelines and communication in an Agile environment.

Soft Skills:

  • Empathetic communicator who can tailor content to varied audiences.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Proactive team player with a learner-first mindset.
