Job Title: Software Developer
Engagement Term: 18 Months
Location: 100% Remote
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to provide comprehensive development and operational support for the Oracle Student Financial Planning (SFP) application and its related ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Groovy, SQL (MS SQL or Oracle SQL), and enterprise-level integrations. This is a fully remote opportunity for an individual who excels in problem-solving, technical development, and supporting complex systems in a structured environment.
Provide ongoing support and enhancements for the Oracle SFP application and its configurations, integrations, and reports.
Analyze and reverse engineer existing scripts, code, and processes to identify performance improvements and automation opportunities.
Develop and modify Groovy and SQL scripts to implement enhancements and fixes.
Design, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations and related components.
Create and update system documentation, operational manuals, and support processes.
Manage and respond to all development and support requests via Jira ticketing system.
Collaborate with technical leads, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solutions.

Strong hands-on experience with Groovy scripting
Proficiency in MS SQL or Oracle SQL
Solid background in software development and production support
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Direct experience with Oracle SFP
Knowledge of Java, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle BI Publisher (BIP)
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Framework and Oracle APEX
Exposure to Tableau development and reporting
Experience with GitHub, Jira, and enterprise job scheduling systems
Strong understanding of Financial Aid systems and Higher Education domain
Experience with Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing
Incident management and production support within enterprise environments
