Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | 40 hours/week | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays
Valid Massachusetts CNA License
BLS Certification (AHA required)
High School Diploma or Equivalent
The CNA will provide compassionate and attentive care to residents in accordance with each Patient Care Plan. This includes:
Assist with daily living activities: ROM exercises, ambulation, transfer training, feeding, hygiene, bed making, and grooming
Record and monitor: vital signs, intake/output, bowel movements, and calorie counts
Respond to call bells promptly and assist with patient repositioning, post-mortem care, and room transfers
Ensure residents use adaptive equipment properly and receive restorative nursing as ordered
Communicate real/potential patient care concerns to the nurse throughout the shift
Maintain accurate and timely documentation as per facility, state, and federal standards
Monitor for changes in condition and report immediately to the nurse
Participate in handoff reports and interdisciplinary communication
Stay updated with care standards via in-services, CE programs, and team training
