Job Title: Document Control Administrator - I (Assistant)

Location: DeSoto, KS 66018
Duration: 4+ Months (Contract)
Work Hours: Onsite | Monday to Friday | Start time: 8:00 AM CST
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Administrator / Administrative Assistant to support document management and supplier transparency. This individual will manage the filing and archival system (both physical and digital), perform accurate data entry, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Document Management:

  • Organize, file, and archive physical and electronic documents in a structured manner

  • Maintain document naming conventions and categorization for efficient retrieval

  • Conduct periodic audits to verify accuracy and compliance with document standards

Data Entry & Supplier Records:

  • Enter and maintain high-accuracy data in internal systems

  • Support supplier transparency efforts by ensuring supplier data and communications are properly documented

Software Proficiency:

  • Use Microsoft Word for document creation and formatting

  • Leverage Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis (formulas, pivot tables), and visualization (charts/graphs)

Team Collaboration & Administrative Support:

  • Collaborate with internal teams on projects and document flow processes

  • Communicate across departments to resolve data or documentation issues

  • Contribute to team meetings with feedback, observations, and improvement suggestions

Learning & Adaptability:

  • Demonstrate initiative in learning new tools and systems, including document approval platforms

  • Stay informed on best practices in document control and data entry

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED

  • Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience:

    • Prior experience in document control, data entry, administration, or quality assurance

    • Strong computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Skills:

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

    • Strong multitasking and prioritization ability

    • Effective verbal and written communication

    • Eagerness to learn new software and adapt quickly to changing systems
