Engagement Term: 18 Months
Work Location: 100% Remote

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to support and enhance an enterprise-level Oracle SFP (Student Financial Planning) application. This role focuses on development, configuration, integration, and ongoing operational support for the system and its related components. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with deep technical expertise and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide development and operational support for the Oracle SFP application and associated systems.

  • Analyze and reverse engineer existing code, scripts, and processes to identify improvements and efficiencies.

  • Develop and modify Groovy and SQL configuration scripts, as well as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations.

  • Create and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and operational instructions.

  • Manage work and support requests through Jira ticketing system.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and support staff.

Required Skills & Experience (Non-Negotiable):

  • Proficiency in Groovy, MS SQL or Oracle SQL, and general software development

  • Experience providing operational support in a production environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Additional Technical Experience Preferred:

  • Oracle SFP (Student Financial Planning)

  • Java programming

  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • Oracle BI Publisher (BIP)

  • Oracle Fusion applications/framework

  • Enterprise job schedulers

  • Production support and incident management

  • Financial Aid systems knowledge

  • Tableau dashboard and report development

  • Experience with GitHub, Jira, Oracle APEX, Oracle ATP, and Oracle BI Enterprise Manager

  • Higher Education industry experience is a plus
