Senior Accessibility Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Accessibility Analyst to lead accessibility assessments and remediation efforts across digital content, technology platforms, and business processes. This role requires a deep understanding of Section 508 compliance, WCAG standards, and assistive technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience driving accessibility strategy and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure usability for all.
Assess digital content, applications, documents, and processes for conformance with accessibility standards.
Convert non-compliant documents (PDFs, Word, etc.) into accessible formats.
Evaluate source files and develop accessible templates to streamline future document creation.
Propose and implement Section 508 remediation workflows to improve operational efficiency.
Conduct manual and automated testing for Section 508 and WCAG compliance.
Review Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and evaluate new technologies for accessibility compliance.
Collaborate with product and development teams to deliver accessible and user-centric solutions.
Provide expert guidance on accessibility issues and recommend improvements to policies and procedures.
Track and respond to changes in accessibility laws, guidelines, and best practices.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in digital accessibility and Section 508 compliance.
Demonstrated experience with:
Evaluating and remediating content for Section 508/WCAG compliance.
Testing tools and assistive technologies (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, AXE, WAVE).
Trusted Tester methodology or equivalent manual/automated testing techniques.
Creating accessible templates and electronic content.
In-depth knowledge of accessibility laws and standards, including:
Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 or higher).
Strong communication skills to advise on accessibility enhancements, respond to inquiries, and lead compliance efforts.
