Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT DevSecOps Engineer to join a high-impact team responsible for implementing and managing secure, scalable, and automated development and deployment infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline management, and a passion for continuous improvement and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer requirements and define project KPIs.

  • Implement development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.

  • Plan team structure and participate in project management activities.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and external communications.

  • Set up tools and required infrastructure for streamlined DevOps operations.

  • Define and maintain development, testing, release, update, and support processes.

  • Review, verify, and validate software code to ensure quality and security.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve code defects using robust debugging techniques.

  • Monitor lifecycle processes, ensuring adherence and recommending improvements.

  • Encourage automation across all workflows and environments.

  • Perform continuous vulnerability assessments and implement cybersecurity measures.

  • Handle incident management and conduct root cause analysis.

  • Coordinate effectively within the team and with client stakeholders.

  • Select and manage CI/CD tools tailored to the environment.

  • Build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

  • Monitor customer experience and project KPIs.

  • Provide regular progress reports to leadership and customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a DevSecOps or related software engineering role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience in application development/engineering for enterprise environments.

  • Strong background in Git and Git-based workflows.

  • Hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

  • Solid understanding of secure SDLC practices and infrastructure automation.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
