Job Title: EEG Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 3+ Month Contract (Extendable)
Shift: Days – 5x8
Pay Rate: $60/hr (Local) – $73/hr (Travel)
Seeking a qualified EEG Technologist for a full-time contract position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine EEG procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings across all age groups.
Registered EEG Technologist
Minimum 1 year of EEG experience
BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Strong computer, communication, and critical thinking skills
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance
Perform routine EEGs in accordance with ASET guidelines
Work with patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Measure and apply electrodes to both adult and pediatric patients
Conduct descriptive analysis of EEG waveforms and patterns
Enter raw EEG data and prepare results for physician review
Edit and review 24-hour EEG data
Ensure appropriate interaction with patients and families
Maintain and clean EEG equipment; stock supplies at acquisition stations
Log equipment malfunctions and service requirements
Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures
