Job Title: Orthopedic Surgical Assistant

Location: Facilities across OH
Pay Rate: $50 – $55/hour (based on experience)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Multiple Shifts available

Position Summary:
We are seeking an Orthopedic Surgical Assistant to provide intraoperative support during joint replacements, fracture repairs, and sports medicine procedures. The role includes assisting with patient positioning, instrument handling, and wound closure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Position and prep patients for orthopedic surgeries
• Assist surgeons with retraction, joint manipulation, and power tools
• Perform wound closure with orthopedic-specific techniques
• Handle implants and maintain sterile instrumentation
• Support post-op dressing and stabilization

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in orthopedic surgical assisting
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy
• CAAHEP program graduate or FMG with evaluated U.S. experience
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• CFA, RNFA, or NSAA certification – Preferred
