Job Title: Heart & Vascular Sonographer
Location: Facilities across OH
Pay Rate: $60 – $64/hour (based on experience)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Multiple Shifts available

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Heart & Vascular Sonographer to perform comprehensive, non-invasive ultrasound studies in both echocardiography and vascular imaging. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care using the latest imaging technology and protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality echo and vascular ultrasound exams in accordance with established protocols
  • Acquire and interpret diagnostic images to support accurate clinical assessments
  • Obtain relevant patient history and ensure appropriate documentation for each procedure
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to optimize patient care
  • Maintain equipment, manage inventory, and ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Contribute to quality control initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Stay current on advances in ultrasound techniques and clinical standards

Qualifications

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cardiac and/or vascular sonography
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in current imaging technologies and equipment
  • Familiarity with DICOM standards, image networking, and EMR systems

Education & Certifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
  • One or more of the following active credentials required:
    • ARDMS: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
    • CCI: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association) – Required
