Job Title: Cardiovascular Technologist – H&V Specialist

Pay Rate: $70 – $76/hour (based on experience)
Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Multiple Shifts available

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Technologist – H&V Specialist to support adult and geriatric patients undergoing invasive cardiology, vascular, and angiographic procedures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring procedural success, patient safety, and adherence to high clinical standards within a collaborative care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and peripheral procedures
• Scrub in and support physicians during cath lab interventions
• Prepare and maintain sterile equipment and procedural trays
• Manage vascular access sites, hemostasis, and sheath removal
• Identify and report changes in patient condition
• Follow all radiation safety guidelines and protocols
• Respond effectively during emergency situations
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver patient-centered education and support

Qualifications

Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in a cardiovascular or cath lab setting
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral anatomy
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Education & Certification:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (R) certification
• Valid Ohio Radiologic License
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required within one year of hire
