Job Title: CVOR Surgical First Assistant – Technologist

Location: Facilities across OH
Pay Rate: $50 – $55/hour
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Multiple Shifts Available

Position Summary:
We are hiring a CVOR Surgical First Assistant Technologist to provide advanced intraoperative support during cardiovascular surgeries. This tech will function closely with the surgeon to support vessel exposure, closure techniques, and hemostasis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support primary surgeon with advanced techniques including grafting, clamping, and suturing
• Ensure all instruments and assistive devices are prepped and functioning
• Provide hemostasis and assist with wound closure
• Coordinate sterile and non-sterile areas pre- and post-surgery

Requirements:
Experience:

• At least 2 years in a Surgical First Assist role in cardiovascular procedures
• Demonstrated knowledge of advanced surgical anatomy and instrumentation

Education & Certification:

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist First Assist program OR relevant experience
• BLS certification (AHA) – Required
• CST/CSFA – Preferred
