Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Duration: 24 week position

Location: Kearney, NE

Shift:- Days

REQUIREMENT: CMA certificate, BLS 

Job Duties:

• Perform front and back-office duties including patient check-in/out and appointment scheduling
• Room patients and record vital signs accurately
• Conduct phlebotomy and EKG procedures
• Perform point-of-care (POC) testing
• Assist with patient documentation and clinical support
• Collect fees and handle payment processing
• Ensure proper patient flow and assist providers as needed
• Maintain clean and organized exam rooms
• Adhere to clinic policies and maintain patient confidentiality
• Note: This position does not participate in HomeMed services

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Registered Medication Aide highly preferred
• BLS or CPR certification (or ability to start pending Marathon approval)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical/front-desk experience preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in basic computer systems and EHR
