Job Title: Finance & Procurement Operations Specialist – Pharma/Biotech

Schedule: Part-Time | 24 Hours/Week (Tue–Thu)

Position Summary:

This hybrid part-time role supports financial and procurement operations for a Global Diversity & Inclusion Center of Excellence (GD&I COE) team within a large life sciences organization. The specialist will help manage centralized funding for Employee Business Resource Groups (EBRGs), oversee procurement and expense processes, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient coordination of financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and track spending through monthly expense reconciliation
• Support the centralized EBRG funding model including virtual card usage, receipt collection, and expense tracking
• Coordinate communications via email and periodic online team meetings
• Manage end-to-end procurement and financial workflows:

  • Create, modify, and close Purchase Orders (POs)

  • Process check requests and invoice approvals

  • Add or modify vendor records
    • Respond to procurement-related inquiries from team members, internal customers, and suppliers
    • Review data with precision; apply analytical thinking in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma (minimum)

Required Experience:
• Experience in project coordination or program administration with a focus on finance/procurement
• Proven success managing financial processes and tracking budgets

Preferred Tools & Systems:
• Ariba
• SAP COMET
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint
• Mobile app familiarity
