Position: Patient Access Representative (Spanish)
Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380
Duration: 3+ Months (12 Weeks) with Possible Extension
Shift: Monday to Friday | 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18/hour

• Welcome and assist patients, guests, and visitors with professionalism and empathy
• Conduct patient registration, check-in, and check-out accurately and efficiently
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed
• Handle collections of co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances (cash and card)
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic system
• Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and support front desk operations
• Address patient inquiries and escalate issues when necessary
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Keep front office area organized and patient-friendly
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Ability to use 10-key by touch
• Experience in cashiering, credit card handling, and front office operations
• Prior experience in verifying health insurance
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 3–4 years in a healthcare front office or patient access role
• Microsoft Word & Excel proficiency
• 10-key by touch typing
• Strong cashiering and customer service background
• Front office operations experience in a medical setting
• Familiarity with EMR systems; Epic is a plus
