Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Required Certifications

• ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT – Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required

• CPR Certification – Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.

• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment including gamma cameras and hot lab systems.

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging using proper techniques and protocols.

• Ensure accurate patient identification, documentation, and image acquisition.

• Maintain and update patient information using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

• Follow all radiation safety regulations and protocols in handling radioactive materials.

• Participate in quality assurance and equipment calibration activities.

• May assist with training and serve as a lead technologist when needed.

Qualifications

• Active license and registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in New York State

• Certification by ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT

• Board-eligible candidates may be considered

• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical nuclear medicine environment

• Familiarity with nuclear medicine procedures and safety standards

Equipment & Systems Experience

• Siemens EVOSPECT Gamma Cameras

• Philips Forte Camera

• Nuclear Medicine Information Systems (NMIS)

• EPIC (EMR system)

• Synapse PACS
