Job Title: RIM System Analyst and Developer
Location: Remote (Based in Louisiana)
Duration: 3+ Years (Long-term Contract)
A government agency is seeking a RIM System Analyst and Developer to provide long-term technical support and development for an enterprise-level Records and Information Management (RIM) system. The role includes application development, technical support, document migration, and coordination with IT teams for effective system implementation and maintenance.
Develop, test, and debug code to support RIM systems and related applications.
Provide ongoing technical, infrastructure, and application support to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Support records management activities such as document scanning, review, classification, and equipment operation.
Coordinate with internal IT staff and contractors to implement business and technical requirements.
Migrate documents and data from legacy content management systems to new electronic document management platforms.
Assist in planning and executing upgrades, patches, and maintenance for RIM systems.
3+ years of experience with enterprise-level Records and Information Management (RIM) systems, including design, development, and administration.
3+ years of hands-on experience with DB2 and .NET development.
Experience with IBM Content Navigator and IBM Content Manager.
Proficiency with Kofax version 11 or higher, including support and development.
Proven ability to develop, test, and debug custom code for records management systems.
Experience analyzing and improving RIM processes and data integrity.
Demonstrated ability to support and maintain high-availability systems for document and content management.
Experience in records management operations such as scanning, reviewing, and classifying documents.
Familiarity with supporting state or government agency systems is preferred.
Experience supporting Kofax and content management systems for public safety organizations is a plus.
