Job Title: Enterprise Project Manager
Location: Columbia, SC

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate multi-agency, enterprise-level projects of significant complexity and risk. This role requires strong project management skills, risk mitigation expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional initiatives within a public sector environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project objectives and scope; review project proposals to establish timelines, budgets, and project phases.

  • Prepare and manage project documentation and coordinate proposal selection and bid processes.

  • Lead project execution from initiation through delivery using industry-standard project management methodologies.

  • Identify and manage project risks; develop mitigation strategies.

  • Develop and execute stakeholder communication plans, including executive leadership and external audiences.

  • Provide regular status updates and reports to project sponsors and stakeholders.

  • Manage project procurement and participate in contract negotiations.

  • Evaluate change requests and recommend revisions to project specifications as needed.

  • Monitor project progress; ensure deliverables, milestones, and deadlines are met.

  • Develop quality management plans and ensure project compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

  • Support project management training and workshops as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications, or a related field.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.

  • Experience in IT, telecommunications, or data processing environments.

  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects with moderate to high complexity and risk.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, procurement processes, and fiscal policies within a government or regulated environment.

  • Strong skills in planning, organizing, and coordinating resources and tasks.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Knowledge of government procurement and fiscal operations preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of IT project management experience, preferably in state-wide or enterprise-level projects.

  • Experience leading financial systems projects or business process reengineering initiatives.

  • Strong analytical, reporting, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while driving transformational outcomes.

  • Experience with enterprise reporting systems and financial applications.
