Compensation:

  • Local Candidates: $3,800 per week

  • Travel Candidates: $4,200 per week (includes stipend)

Licensing & Certification Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required

  • AHA BLS Certification – Required

  • Primary Source License Verification – Required

Job Description:

A healthcare facility is seeking a Nurse Supervisor (Assistant Director of Nursing – House Coverage) to provide overnight leadership support across nursing units. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality patient care and effective team supervision during non-business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement patient care initiatives and staff development programs

  • Evaluate clinical performance and collaborate with Nurse Managers on unit operations

  • Identify and implement corrective actions to maintain care standards

  • Oversee and maintain accurate records of medication errors, incident reports, and staff counseling

  • Serve as the lead administrator during night shifts, resolving issues and ensuring operational continuity

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and support training initiatives across clinical departments

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration – Preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of total nursing experience

  • At least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role in a clinical setting

Key Skills:
