Surgical Technologist – Operating Room

Summary:
Join a fast-paced surgical team in Atlanta as a Surgical Technologist, responsible for prepping operating rooms, maintaining sterility, and assisting with procedures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring surgical safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities Include:

• Setting up surgical instruments and sterile drapes
• Verifying and maintaining equipment readiness
• Supporting surgeons and nurses with instrument passing and procedural assistance
• Ensuring a sterile environment is preserved
• Accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts
• Specimen handling and waste disposal

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST – NBSTSA or NCCT)
• Graduate of accredited Surgical Tech program
• 1+ year of OR experience preferred (new grads welcome)
• Knowledge of sterile fields, strong communication skills
• BLS preferred
