Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Training Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
7.5 hours/day, 5 days/week (37.5 hours/week)
Note: Must be certified in CT. Candidate must be able to perform X-ray, CT scan, and bone density exams.
Seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures including CT, X-ray, and bone density scans. This role requires adherence to clinical protocols, radiation safety standards, and precise documentation to support diagnostic evaluations.
Operate CT equipment using appropriate kV and mA settings to produce high-quality images.
Perform daily quality control and calibration checks to ensure proper equipment functionality.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation, including logs, charge forms, and equipment reports to comply with departmental and regulatory standards.
Conduct quality assurance and safety testing while adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety principles.
Prepare, maintain, and retrieve patient films and electronic imaging data for radiologist interpretation.
Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses in advance and verify dose activity prior to administration.
Receive radiopharmaceutical deliveries and validate proper receipt according to policy and procedure.
Perform additional X-ray and bone density exams as required.
Proficiency in performing CT scans, X-rays, and bone density exams per protocol
Sound clinical judgment and the ability to respond to patient needs during imaging procedures
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and documentation accuracy
Excellent communication and teamwork in a clinical environment
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Required Licenses & Certifications:
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Minimum of 1 year of CT experience
