Job Description:
We are hiring a Technical Writer – Consultant to support healthcare IT modernization projects. This role involves developing APDs, regulatory documentation, and operational procedures for state and federal agencies. Candidates should be skilled at simplifying complex technical concepts and have prior experience supporting healthcare or Medicaid projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and maintain APDs and related compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT, project management, and operational teams.
  • Create documentation for project activities, funding requests, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support documentation of policies, SOPs, and business processes.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years in APD or federal grant documentation.
  • 3+ years in Medicaid, Health IT, or public sector programs.
  • Experience writing SOPs, policies, and financial justification documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with RFP/RFI creation.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
