Job Title: SAP Release Management Consultant
Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $85 - $90/hour

Candidate must be a CURRENT South Carolina resident. No relocation allowed.

Project Overview:
Looking for an SAP Release Management Consultant to coordinate and manage SAP software releases, including upgrades, Support Packs, OSS Notes, and change requests. The role ensures a structured and controlled release process while minimizing disruptions to production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate SAP release schedules across ECC, SRM, and BW systems.
• Implement best practices for release and deployment management processes.
• Collaborate with SAP technical and functional teams to manage release scope and readiness.
• Ensure documentation and reporting of release cycles and deliver training as needed.
• Use SAP Solution Manager and other tools to manage release pipelines.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience managing SAP software releases and deployments.
• Strong understanding of SAP upgrades, OSS Notes, and Support Packs.
• Experience working in change-controlled SAP environments.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP public sector project experience.
• Familiarity with Solution Manager ChaRM.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
