Job Title: SAP Change Management Consultant
Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $85 - $90/hour

Candidate must be a CURRENT South Carolina resident. No relocation allowed.

Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Change Management Consultant to support the establishment and optimization of change management processes. This role will focus on process development, documentation, tool configuration (e.g., SAP Solution Manager), and training for internal technical and functional teams. The consultant will play a key role in implementing effective change control for SAP environments, including ECC, SRM, and BW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and recommend improvements to existing change management processes.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to align processes with best practices and tool capabilities.
  • Analyze and determine the most suitable change management tools, including SAP Solution Manager.
  • Configure selected tools to support defined change management workflows.
  • Document change management processes—both technical and functional.
  • Deliver training to internal teams on adopted change management procedures.
  • Oversee processes related to:
    • Request for Change (RFC)
    • SAP system upgrades
    • OSS Note implementations
    • Support Pack deployments

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing SAP change management processes.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Solution Manager (configuration and usage).
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP software analysis, design, and development.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC, SRM, and BW systems.
  • Experience with SAP upgrades, OSS Notes, Support Packs, and issue resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with additional SAP change management tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in SAP public sector environments.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and SQL database platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
  • Strong business acumen.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent professional experience (5+ years).
