Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Location: Holmdel, NJ 07733

Assignment Type:

  • 13-week contract

  • 3x12-hour shifts/week

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

  • Schedule: Every other weekend & holiday required

  • No on-call

  • May float to Telemetry if needed

Pay Rate:

  • Travel RN: Up to $2,340/week

  • Local RNs are also encouraged to apply (rate varies based on status)

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care in a critical care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, recent ICU experience, and the ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations. This role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in accordance with established protocols

  • Continuously assess and monitor patient conditions for early signs of complications

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to implement patient care plans

  • Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with hospital standards

  • Comply with infection control and patient safety protocols

  • Float to Telemetry as needed based on facility needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in New Jersey or multi-state compact license

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU bedside experience (within the last 6 months)

  • BLS (AHA)

  • ACLS (AHA)

  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)

  • 4 CEU Stroke Hours Required

  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and float when required

Education Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • Expert in developing and executing care plans in critical care settings

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

  • Able to perform under pressure in fast-paced ICU environments
