Position Summary:
A New York-based acute care hospital is seeking experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurses for a night shift travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for confident, self-directed RNs with strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to adult medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring

  • Start IVs, draw labs, and interpret cardiac monitoring

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and manage patient care plans

  • Document care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records

  • Maintain a professional and compassionate approach to patient care

Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered New York State RN license

  • At least 1.5 years of recent acute care Med/Surg Telemetry experience within the last 2 years

  • Previous experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center is strongly preferred

  • Experience with EPIC EMR is highly preferred

  • Current BLS certification, with ability to recertify if needed

  • Availability to work every other weekend and two of the three major holidays during the contract

  • Must pass background check, drug screen, and health clearance

  • No history of license suspension, professional liability claims, or investigations

Required Skills:

  • IV insertion and blood draws

  • Telemetry interpretation

  • EPIC EMR

  • Trauma hospital experience

  • NYS RN License
