Travel Rate: $2,725/Weekly
Position Summary:
A New York-based acute care hospital is seeking experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurses for a night shift travel assignment. This opportunity is ideal for confident, self-directed RNs with strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to adult medical-surgical patients with telemetry monitoring
Start IVs, draw labs, and interpret cardiac monitoring
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and manage patient care plans
Document care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records
Maintain a professional and compassionate approach to patient care
Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered New York State RN license
At least 1.5 years of recent acute care Med/Surg Telemetry experience within the last 2 years
Previous experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center is strongly preferred
Experience with EPIC EMR is highly preferred
Current BLS certification, with ability to recertify if needed
Availability to work every other weekend and two of the three major holidays during the contract
Must pass background check, drug screen, and health clearance
No history of license suspension, professional liability claims, or investigations
