Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) Registered Nurse
Schedule: 40 Hours/week
Shifts: 0700–1730 or 0800–1830
On-Call: Required in rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays
Safety Requirements: Use of lead apron required

Location: Hyannis, MA

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Cath Lab RN required

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)

  • Current Massachusetts RN license

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must maintain)

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (must maintain)

  • Successful completion of pharmacology exam

  • Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Program or challenge exam

  • Moderate sedation training within 6 months of hire

  • Must have 2 years of telemetry experience

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English

Purpose of Position:

Delivers patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administers medications and monitors patient responses. Leads and supports the care team in delivering high-quality nursing care in accordance with hospital policy and standards. Ensures optimal customer service for all patients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in nursing documentation

  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding patient care, orientation, and education

  • Attend at least four unit staff meetings per year and all mandatory training

  • Participate in quality improvement processes and evaluation of care

  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures

  • Assess and maintain personal and professional development

  • Stay updated on relevant patient care techniques and regulations

  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor

  • Consistently deliver compassionate, respectful, and high-quality care
