Shift Details: Weekdays, 8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Role Summary:
Join a collaborative medical team as a Clinical Ultrasound Technologist, delivering safe, high-quality diagnostic scans in a busy healthcare setting. This role focuses on general ultrasound, portable scanning, and procedural assistance under physician guidance.
Responsibilities Include:
Execute scheduled sonographic procedures with speed, accuracy, and patient safety in mind.
Conduct exams using both stationary and portable units.
Set up exam rooms, maintain sterile supplies, and disinfect equipment between uses.
Guide and prepare patients for exams with clear communication.
Monitor image quality and contribute to diagnostic interpretation.
Document procedures in hospital software systems and assist with data retrieval.
Help train new staff and maintain a collaborative team environment.
Adhere to institutional behavior, safety, and emergency protocols.
Work flexible hours, including holidays/on-call as needed.
Required Background:
Completion of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
Registered with ARDMS (RDMS) and current CPR certification.
Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, sonographic techniques, and patient safety.
Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
1 year of experience in clinical ultrasound preferred.
