Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: St. Paul, MN
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $20 to $24/hr

Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant will provide support in both front and back office duties, including:

• Greeting and rooming patients

• Scheduling appointments, answering phones, and managing inquiries

• Taking patient vitals, drawing blood, administering vaccines

• Offering additional clinical support as needed

• Collaborating with the center’s staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of medical assistant experience (in addition to externship)

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred

• Phlebotomy/venipuncture and EMR experience required

• Occupational Health experience preferred

• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with computer systems

• Passion for health education and patient care

Required Skills:

• Front and back-office experience

• Phlebotomy, EKG, and POC testing

• Scheduling, patient rooming, and taking vitals

• BLS/CPR certification required
