Job Title: Organizational Change Management Analyst / Readiness Liaison
Location: Boston, MA 02108
Duration: 1 Year (Renewal Possible)
Work Model: Hybrid (In-State Travel May Be Required)

Position Summary:

A major public sector program is seeking multiple Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analysts / Readiness Liaisons to help prepare state agencies for the implementation of a new enterprise-wide financial solution. These professionals will assess agency readiness, provide tailored support, promote business process adoption, and ensure a smooth organizational transition.

Each Readiness Liaison will be assigned to a group of agencies (grouped by secretariat, business function, or organization type) and will serve as a key driver of change, ensuring users are equipped and supported throughout the transition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate the vision and value of the new financial solution to agency staff and leadership

  • Promote and support the adoption of new enterprise functions that may replace existing tools (e.g., vendor or grants management systems)

  • Maintain and monitor agency readiness checklists (training, security provisioning, technical requirements, etc.)

  • Track technical readiness tasks (interfaces, data warehouse access, reporting needs)

  • Collaborate with technical teams to identify and provision appropriate security roles

  • Disseminate communications and training materials in a timely, clear manner

  • Guide agencies through the transition from "as-is" to "to-be" processes

  • Facilitate change readiness interviews and organizational assessments

  • Develop agency-specific readiness plans encompassing communications, operations, technical readiness, and training

  • Lead agency champion networks, conducting training and educational sessions

  • Monitor engagement and provide coaching and follow-up support

  • Deliver regular status reports identifying risks, challenges, and recommended solutions

  • Support post-implementation success by identifying and mitigating issues

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3–5 years of experience in change management roles within large organizations

  • Proven success with transformational change initiatives, especially tech adoption

  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills across varied audiences

  • Excellent listening, interviewing, and analytical skills

  • Skilled in mapping business processes using Visio and analyzing gaps

  • Experience with tools such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

  • Effective communicator—both written and verbal—with strong presentation skills

  • Ability to independently track tasks, follow up, and proactively resolve issues

  • Willingness to travel frequently across Massachusetts to engage with agencies

  • Strong team player able to work collaboratively across departments

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of public sector financial business processes, such as:

    • Chart of Accounts

    • GAAP Reporting

    • Federal Grants Management

    • Procurement & Contracting

    • Asset & Inventory Management

    • Billing & Accounts Receivable

    • Data Reporting & Analytics

  • Background in large-scale ERP implementations or public sector modernization projects

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
