Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist 
Location: New York, NY 10029
Shift Time: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Morning Shift)
Specialty Required: OB/GYN

Payrate: $1,875/weekly - $2,062/weekly

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a contract role in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and have at least 2 years of experience. The technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, assist radiologists, and maintain ultrasound equipment, with a focus on OB/GYN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound procedures according to departmental protocols
• Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensuring patient and staff safety
• Set up, clean, and perform minor maintenance on ultrasound machines
• Capture and upload images to PACS and transfer to physician workstations
• Ensure adequate inventory of medical and technical supplies
• Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound staff
• Answer phone calls, schedule patient exams, and coordinate transport as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
• OB/GYN ultrasound experience is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of administrative and office practices
• Ability to use personal computers and medical software
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and discretion
