Job Title: Physical Therapist I

Location: New York, NY 10003
Duration: 60 Days (with potential extension)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:15 PM
Patient Load: 12–14 patients per day

Compensation: $45.00/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist I to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in a dynamic outpatient care environment. This short-term assignment offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, contribute to multidisciplinary care planning, and apply your clinical expertise in a high-impact setting.

Education Requirements:

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) required

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records

• Experience in Outpatient Physical Therapy settings

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications/Licenses:

• Active New York State Physical Therapy License (Required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform initial patient evaluations and administer individualized physical therapy treatments

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across inpatient, outpatient, and acute care settings

• Develop and update treatment goals and care plans based on patient progress

• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of treatments and progress

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on recovery strategies and therapy objectives

• Recommend and document durable medical equipment needs as appropriate
